Hello there and welcome to my site for all those interested in goat dairying. I created it as a place to interact, a place to share our ideas, our observations, our methods of achieving a degree of success in milking goats for our income.

The dairy goat farmers I have spoken to here in Australia are full of information about the goats and the industry and I felt it was about time we all put that information in one place, namely here.

So please, don't be selfish with your knowledge and add your bit in too. We want to know how you have achieved what you have, both your successes and failures. I hope to keep the site uncluttered, simple and easy on the eye.

For about 12 months now I have known, but denied to myself, that I would have to sell my goats. My back and my husband's advancing arthritis have meant we are in constant pain and can no longer cope with the 7 day a week workload.

Last night I made a verbal agreement with Bevan and Judith of Warwick, Qld. Pending official approval by Parmalat as suppliers Bevan and Judy will be buying and receiving my herd in Autumn. I wish them all the very best as I know my goats are going to a good home.
